Melbourne, And Now Comes 2009
January 11, 2009

I left for Melbourne the day before New Years. The week away was wonderful. I did a whole lot of shopping and catching up with family.
I bought a lot of stuff in Melbourne. An Eiffel Tower wall photo-holder thing, a backpack, a satchel bag, Take The Lead soundtrack, Carolina Liar single, shorts (yes, I own a pair of shorts now!), some cool new t-shirts – including a Batman tee!- and and andddd a scarf, some new DVD’s and some new jewellery.
I am still bumming around the house a lot, but I am still working on my room. This project is bigger than I expected but it is almost done and then what will I have left to do in the holidays?
I went to see a movie with Karlien on Thursday, we got stopped on Rundle Street but a man who asked us to have lunch. He was odd and looked to me like someone out of Underbelly, so we pretty much ran away as soon as we got around the corner to get to the Palace Cinema. We saw The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, which was great, but not a movie you see twice.. well not for a while anyway. Then we caught up with some friends who were at Media Makeup doing some volenteering and modeling as either a cancer patient or an alien’esqe thing.
On Friday Karlien and Alfie came up to go swimming. It was a bit cold so we spent most of the time in the spa, then I got them watching True Blood. They are both now hooked. Alfie took the whole season home on his iPod and finished it last night.
Yesterday I was in bed till 2pm. I watched The Notebook for the first time. It was wonderful. I loved it.
Today I have just been cleaning up.
Over and out.
