Sometimes I Feel Sitting On Trains, Every Stop I Get To I’m Clocking That Game

Why the sudden change in layout? I have no idea. I am just loving the most random stuff (all thanks to one particular website). Today I went out and had a ball with Meg, Alfie, Karlien and Amy. The day started off kind of rough, I fought with dad about money and phone credit so I left home feeling like I just wanted to piss him off. On the bus ride into town I saw people from Bellevue Heights, one that I really, really don’t like. I got into town at noon, luckily not late, and once Karlien arrived we all went off to Boost. For some reason or another I had really been craving juice so after taking a sip of Megs drink I caved. We all saw Slumdog Millionare at the Palace, it was a BRILLIANT movie. I’d see it again in cinemas. There were parts that were hard to watch, but that’s what makes a great film. That’s what makes a great story. We then went back into the mall for a bit and did a bit of shopping/$2 shopping/window shopping and then went back to Alfie’s house.

We talked and watched stuff (Meg’s new years video and True Blood) and Karlien and Alfie swam for a bit.. the rest of us didn’t have bathers. I love his dog Wilma, she is the most adorable dog in the world! Then after more talking and throwing stuff around Amy and I left. She caught the bus and I continued to walk down to Portrush Road. Dad came speeding up in the BMW, I could tell he was a bit angry with me for not calling or anything, but that was the deal, if I didn’t have credit I couldn’t call. :)

I had a great day. Now I’m here, and it’s midnight.

Over and out.

Bring The Noise

8_27_08_jauretsi_33281

All that’s left to do now is tacky it up. Of course, I am talking about my room. I have everything I need in here, I have my mirrors and my bookshelves and now I just have to put the photos and art work up.

On Friday John and I caught up and went to see Yes Man, but not before I accidentally caught us the wrong bus and went all the way down south to Reynella. I was freaking out, but somehow we made it back to Marion before the latest session of the film screened. I went out on Friday night, to a friend of a friends house to watch a gig. The band was made up of people I had gone to school with but never really socialised with. They were really good, a bit unorganised, but really good. I had a wonderful time dancing until close to midnight with Karlien and Amy. Although.. I tore up the bottom of my stockings on the concrete. :(

My parents organised a BBQ with friends on Saturday night so I just chilled out at home for the rest of the weekend, and up until today that’s what I have been doing.

I have fallen in love with a website that has hundreds of photos of people like artists and DJs and designers in there homes with there stuff. It’s amazing.

Oh, and if I ever have baby girls I want to name them Nyx, Alexis and Zen. :)

Over and out.

Melbourne, And Now Comes 2009

love

I left for Melbourne the day before New Years. The week away was wonderful. I did a whole lot of shopping and catching up with family.

I bought a lot of stuff in Melbourne. An Eiffel Tower wall photo-holder thing, a backpack, a satchel bag, Take The Lead soundtrack, Carolina Liar single, shorts (yes, I own a pair of shorts now!), some cool new t-shirts – including a Batman tee!- and and andddd a scarf, some new DVD’s and some new jewellery.

I am still bumming around the house a lot, but I am still working on my room. This project is bigger than I expected but it is almost done and then what will I have left to do in the holidays?

I went to see a movie with Karlien on Thursday, we got stopped on Rundle Street but a man who asked us to have lunch. He was odd and looked to me like someone out of Underbelly, so we pretty much ran away as soon as we got around the corner to get to the Palace Cinema.  We saw The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, which was great, but not a movie you see twice.. well not for a while anyway. Then we caught up with some friends who were at Media Makeup doing some volenteering and modeling as either a cancer patient or an alien’esqe thing.

On Friday Karlien and Alfie came up to go swimming. It was a bit cold so we spent most of the time in the spa, then I got them watching True Blood. They are both now hooked. Alfie took the whole season home on his iPod and finished it last night.

Yesterday I was in bed till 2pm. I watched The Notebook for the first time. It was wonderful. I loved it.

Today I have just been cleaning up.

Over and out.

Welcome

Welcome to my dark place. My thoughts, my ideas. I can't keep everything locked away, this is my outlet. It's full of double meanings and cryptic clues. Almost everything that is in my head gets put down. Won't you stay for tea?
