Brace Myself And Let Go, Start It Over Again In Mexico

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?

So Christmas has just been and gone.. I got up before 7am, opened the presents, had a shower, got all dressed up, visited the Steer’s then went to my Nunnu and Nunna’s for lunch. It was good to have them in Adelaide for Christmas, they almost went to Melbourne but something mum said made them stay. That night my family went down to Marcellina’s and hung out with Johnny and Lee for an hour or so. Johnny and Lee are my mum’s cousins. Old enough to be my cousins, so I call them that too. They are in their late 20s. It was fun, standing around in the back room watching this guy called Zac go in and out of the massive freezer because it was too hot in the shop.

Yesterday the family and I went to family friends house to go swimming and stuff. I watched three movies instead. Mean Girls, A Valentine Carol and Candy. The second movie was shit, but Candy an Australian film with Heath Ledger its star, was fantastic! I loved it. It was very eye opening. You can have no direction in live but still have everything you want. Even if you’re hooked on heroin, you’re a hooker and you can’t pay the rent.

Today I emptied my bookshelf and my tallboy, they are now waiting outside along with my bed-side table for me to paint them white. My room looks like a bomb went off. Everything is everywhere, while it is in order it doesn’t look it at all. Mum and dad went out to Ikea today and bought me a new mirror, exactly like the picture up there! Some wall stickers and something to hold my hair stuff that kinda resembles a toolbox. I like what they got me. It’s more exciting then what I got for Christmas. Although what they got me was very very very expensive it just, was boring, they got me a flat screen television.

Now that I got all that out, finally, it is time to go paint. =D

Over and out.

I Am Not The Kind That Will Hide Beneath The Lights And Lyrical One Liners.. I Just Can’t Stand The Hype

20ol6

I know it has been ten days but before you go ahead and say “Oh! She’s finally posting…” let me tell you this, I have tried to post something this past week but I just felt that nothing was good. I have had very little to say, I care about a very small amount of things at the moment. My last post was just a filler, and the one before that I was feeling numb, tired and frustrated. Today I am feeling sore, a good sore though. I played tennis yesterday and carried a heavy load a few hundred metres.

These past ten days I:

♣ Sat at home a lot
♣ Went shopping and then went to see Twilight with Kara
♣ Have not bought my hermit crab
♣ Went for a hike in the Belair National Park
♣ Went to a friends house
♣ Watched a lot of movies
♣ Took my sister to Glenelg
♣ Got a super cool hair cut
♣ Went to a picnic and played tennis at Belair National Park
♣ Got sick

And now I’m trying to decide which Jet song I feel like putting on my Myspace profile… Either Cold Hard Bitch or Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is… Hmmm..

I really should write a Chirstmas list.. lets see..
This Chirstmas I want:

♥ Everything I haven’t used this past year that is just sitting in my room to disappear (up into the attic.. not completely)
To write and record a duet with Nic Cester (that would be amazing)
My sister to stop acting like a spoilt brat
Mum and dad to take me for more driving lessons

..but those things will probably never happen.

So instead I’ll just go for:

♦ An iPod (either 120G classic or 16G touch)
..as my iRiver broke last year..
♦ A small flat screen television
..as my current television has decided it doesn’t like me any more and has magnetised itself..
♦ A small handycam
..I think that’s what mum and dad will get me..

♦ About 30 black photo frames
♦ About 30 photos of me, my friends and my family to put in those frames
♦ About 30 nails to hang those frames on my wall
♦ A bottle of really really great super hold hairspray
♦ Some more of those tank tops I wear everyday
♦ A new pair of jeans (my current ones have a hole in them)
♦ That book Aunty Julie is getting me
♦ Some basic gold studs (my ears are fucking up and hurting like hell when I put cheap jewellery in them)
♦ A hermit crab.. 0r many hermit crabs
♦ The first Mighty Ducks movie on dvd.. I have the 2nd and 3rd ones
♦ Some more nail polish
Hmmm, that’s just what I can think that I need. I’ll get everything on that list eventually. Oh what fun.

I plan on baking ginger bread for my family and giving them baked goods for Christmas. Its easy, its affordable and it comes from a warm place.. the oven. I can’t wait for next week. The tree looks fantastic, I’m finally kinda getting into the Christmas spirit and all is well.

Over and out.

You’re The Voice Inside My Head, The One That Keeps Me Breathing

p21284-murray_river_australia-sunset_on_the_murray

I want to go to the river. This year we apparently aren’t going and that killed when mum told me.

Mum took me shopping. I wanted to blow my savings. But I didn’t. I bought a diary, a pencil case and a calendar. 30 dollars all up.

All I really want to do is watch Camp Rock. ButI’m watching this shitty movie, its really okay, but its full of typical teen shit. She gets used, she has a pregnancy scare, her boyfriend dies. Blah blah blah. Oh, there’s a lot of surfing too, I suppose that’s the Australian influence on the film. Oh wait, now the girls are surfing. All the guys were like ‘Oi, fuck off, chick’s don’t surf!’… They’re doing it, cause hey, the were sluts and now they want to be respected again. Yay! It’s over.

I have to go somewhere I really don’t want to tonight.

I’m going to buy a hermit crab tomorrow. Even though I though I don’t sleep well and noises (like shell’s scraping around) will scare the fuck out of me I want a pet. My pet. That I’ll look after. All mine.

Over and out.

And What It All Comes Down Too, Is That Everythings Gonna Be Quite Alright..

s3_278414088-1228612516

Run, baby, run, don’t ever look back. They’ll tear you apart if you give them the chance.

So my last three days have been eventful. On Friday I did all the things I wanted to do on thursday and more. I went to Kara’s very early in the morning and hung about for quite a bit then we went down to the school, payed for our jumpers, sorted out my year 12 timetable then went off the the Burnside Library to find some more romance novels. After that we went on a mission, to find a coffee shop that would let us use EFTPOS without reaching the minimum transaction amount of 10 dollars as I only had $8.50 on my card and no other ways of payment. I give 5 stars for service to The Village Cafe in Burnside, the barrister that served us put the card through even though they had the minimum as well. We went back to Kara’s and started to watch this old Australian ‘coming of age’ film called Puberty Blues. It was so funny. A bit ocka, but funny.

Saturday I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. Then I cooked, screwed up the cheesecake but then made a buttercake instead. Everybody got to my house earlier than I expected, but it worked out well. I overestimated the amount of food I needed to cook and a lot of it is still in the fridge. Kara and I had an interesting time making chocolate mousse.. It turned out to be chocolate cream and chocolate sauce. Hahaha, we had it with the cake. My god it was good.

Today has been interesting. Most of it anyway. My brother and his freinds are here now and I yeah, I have needed to talk to one of them for a while. I may diss him a whole lot but he is like, a brother, but wiser. I’m off to go chat.

Over and out.

So Disconnected… You Got Me Hanging By A Thread

Today I had a lot planned, I had to go into school and talk to teachers and buy my year 12 jumper. Then I woke up this morning and felt so damn sick. I think I just need to rest. My body has been catching up on so much sleep this past week. Yesterday I slept over 10 hours which for me is like.. impossible.

I really really really want to catch up with Olivia and Lauren, I’m pretty sure I said I’d try to see them before Christmas.. Hmmm

Love is cool, love is great,
love helps me procrastinate!

So today I have so far cleaned my room, done a load of washing, hung up that load of washing, done the dishwasher, started to cook dinner and chyeaahhhhh. Oh man, my nose is killing me! It’s all because of the damn vacuum, I had to empty it.. SO MUCH DUST! But I found five cents! ^^

Now I feel really really drowsy.

Over and out.

Goldmine Valentine

l_eec9ed7ceb797354ff9f8053f6bbac91

She’s a black widow best friend
Cold as the cock of a colt 45
She fled the scene, she she’d the sheets
And sold the movie rights
She swore before her chastity
With tongue and burning cheek
But fiction can be fun, fiction can be nasty fun

Oh no no no no, you better watch your back
Cause exes can’t be oh’s
Oh no no no no, you better watch your back

Goldmine valentine, my bankroll butterfly
She’ll steal your heart and make you proud
Right before she sells you out
Goldmine valentine, makes out with open eyes
She’ll steal to save her skin
And she steal your heart again

She’s a front page fold out million dollar mouth
With a story rip to tell
But she hates to read, she moves much better
Up and down than side to side to side
She’s famous for the fashion of
Her backseat bedroom action can be fun
Her backseat can be…

Oh no no no no, you better watch your back
Cause exes can’t be oh’s
Oh no no no no, you better watch your back

Goldmine valentine, my bankroll butterfly
She’ll steal your heart and make you proud
Right before she sells you out
Goldmine valentine, makes out with open eyes
She’ll steal to save her skin
And she steal your heart again

I like this song, a whole lot.

She Sings A Song, Sounds Like She’s Singing…

Ooo baby… ooo… said ooo…

Well my weekend was nice. I spent a lot of time outside and the beach was picturesque. On the way up to Port Elliot my mum told me I there was no more work left for me to do at work. Now I get to spend more time at home. Great.

On Saturday morning Seanne, Monica, Rachel and I went straight down to the beach. Seanne got her jeans wet, I was laughing so hard because we really didn’t expect any big waves when we went down there. After eveybody finally got ready to go we went to Port Elliot Pits and the boys went for a race, Ash won and I got a few great pictures. Then we went into Victor Harbour for some lunch and a shop. Seanne and I left the pack and went around window shopping, we also went to the jetty and sat on the grass beside it and had the yummiest hot doughnuts ever. After window shopping we sat in the shopping center there while the adults food shopped for like.. an hour. Some old lady asked me if I was married and then gave me a book about Jehovas Witness stuff. I was trying so hard not to giggle, as I was reading the book out loud to Seanne. We then went out to the Middleton Pub for dinner, which was nice. Once we got home Monica, Seanne and I watched Donnie Darko. The boys were constantly coming in and out and kept asking what was going on in the movie, it was funny watching them try and understand it. I crashed out about 3 hours before everybody else that night.

On Sunday I did Raff’s hair, and seeing as her hair has always been curly she absolutely loved having it straightened. We all then went into Port Elliot and did some shopping, I bought these beautiful photo frames and a gorgeous pair of earrings. We then went into Goolwa and walked up the main street, having a look at shops that were there. After that we went for a drive along the beach to the Murray Mouth. Went back to get ice cream and then went back to the shack. Packed up, got pizza and then left. It was nice, simple and relaxing. I didn’t take much to do and I didn’t need to take much, for once.

Today has been lazy, I watched Sydney White and now I am watching Iron Man.

Over and out.

Welcome

Welcome to my dark place. My thoughts, my ideas. I can't keep everything locked away, this is my outlet. It's full of double meanings and cryptic clues. Almost everything that is in my head gets put down. Won't you stay for tea?
